Growing up, I thought I had NO purpose in life. I grew up with a lot of insecurities and self-esteem issues and went through a lot of trials and tribulations and because of those insecurities. But I came out on top because I started to surround myself with positive people.

People that believed in me and people that could help me. That’s when my life really begun. To the young ladies out there that seems to think they have no purpose in life or are going through something, NEVER give up. Believe that you have a purpose.

Like for me, I now believe my purpose is to help, protect & most of all inspire people. Help people through their trials and tribulations; protect anyone from harm’s way and inspire people to live life to the fullest and shoot for the stars. The sky is the limit. You can do anything you want to do and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

I was blessed with a lot of positive people in my life including the Founder/Executive Director of Shawna’s House Inc. Shawna K. Clark (Thank you). You just have to follow your heart and believe in yourself. For some, finding your purpose is very hard but for others it comes naturally.

For those who might think finding your purpose is hard, keep searching and if you think you’ll spend your whole life trying to find that purpose maybe that was your purpose; to try everything that the world offers.

My message to you is- to never give up on life. Even if you think you’ve hit rock bottom. Life is too precious to waste. When you feel like you are about to give up, think of all the joys you had in your life and wish that you could experience that moment again. Think of someone in your life that made you feel so special and good inside. I’m sure they would hate to see you give up on a life that everyone doesn’t get a chance to live.
